The sale was final in May.
In addition to its Ruston headquarters, Arkla Taylor has locations in Broussard and Houma, Blytheville and El Dorado, Ark., Longview and Lufkin in Texas and Tulsa, Okla.
Hugg & Hall has eight locations and 260 employees around Arkansas.

LITTLE ROCK — The recent purchase of a leading dealer of forklifts will extend the reach of Little Rock-based Hugg & Hall Equipment Co.
Hugg & Hall, which provides materials and personnel handling products and services for the industrial and construction markets, acquired Arkla Taylor, a Ruston, La.-based Taylor forklift dealer that serves Arkansas, eastern Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and southern Missouri.
Arkla Taylor is a regional dealer for Taylor Machine Works, the manufacturer of Taylor “Big Red” forklifts. Arkla Taylor rents and sells new and used equipment and provides parts and service for the Taylor product lines. It serves a broad customer base in the lumber, forestry, oil and gas, steel, pipe, prestressed concrete and freight handling industries, as well as other markets requiring a large lift capacity.
“Arkla Taylor, like Hugg & Hall, is totally committed to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction,” Hugg and Hall Chairman John Hugg said. “We think that the alliance of these two organizations … will be very positive for our combined customer base.”
