Newton Teen Premieres Piece Dedicated to 9/11 Anniversary

Director: To commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9 / 11, Lev, who lives in Newton, wrote a play called "The Eagle: A Song Without Words" based on a poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson. Lev, a cellist, will be his compositions on stage at St. Paul's Church in Brookline on Sun, September 18. The concert, part of the series Winsor Music, will also feature works by Haydn and Mendelssohn. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m.

The key Awesomeness: From the cello just 2 years, Lev gave his first solo show, when he was 5-years old and 8-year-old has played as soloist with the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra.

In 2007, Lev won the Concerto Competition and Newton appeared on the PBS radio show "from above" in 2008. He is currently studying with Michael Reynolds at the New England Conservatory.

"The Eagle" is not the first composition by Lev, in 2010, he created his first piece called "Sturnidae."There are currently seeing Perlman Music Program and performs frequent concerts in local schools and nursing homes.
