He then emailed the actions to himself and opened the files on a free Brushes viewer application on a computer, and exported the sequence as a movie file
'The video started with a blank canvas much like this one,' he said. 'From that first frame camera began rolling. Each time I lifted my finger from the canvas a new frame was recorded.
'Thirty brush strokes later, and I created one second of video. About 7,000 strokes later, i would have a completed music video, so I kept drawing,' he said.
Posted on June 13, the video is hardly viral, tallying short of 1,800 views in the last ten days; but hits appear to be climbing as it circulates online.
The cutting edge clip already appears to be start of a trend.
One user commented: 'I really really want to try and create something like this on my iPad now, I never thought it could be implemented into something as amazing as this, thanks for the inspiration.'
